WORLD TOUR ROUTE
The Pedaling for the Future project is a full world tour. If I can succeed (and I’ve already cycled from Turkey to Japan), my goal is to travel the world using my bicycle as a means of transportation and return to my country (the homepage shows how many days I’ve been on the road). The planned World Tour route is shown above.
(This route may change while on the road)
Before checking the route, there’s a page you should read first: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS. Many people think that one needs to be incredibly wealthy for such a tour. However, the reality is that it’s the result of the effort and time spent pursuing our dreams. Happy reading!

My world tour is expected to cover 87 countries and 7 continents. By the time I finish my world tour, I estimate that I will have cycled around 115,000 kilometers. I’m not cycling nonstop every day; I explore historical and tourist sites in the countries I visit, spend a week, ten days, or even two months in some cities. I camp in areas I like, enjoy nature’s beauty, and spend time reading books. So, I’m in no hurry!
During my 2010-2011 journey from Turkey to Japan, I crossed the Karakum Desert (the 8th largest desert in the world) in Turkmenistan, the Gobi Desert (the 3rd largest desert in the world) in Mongolia, and climbed Pamir Mountain in Tajikistan (4,650 meters), one of the highest vehicle-accessible points in the world. I completed 11 countries during that trip. By the end of all my travels, I will have cycled through 98 countries.
